Norfolk World Music Festival at Southburgh – bringing you a slice of the world to the heart of Norfolk.
From Friday 26th to Sunday 28th July, Burton Manor Barns in Southburgh will open its gates for the 11th year running. We look forward to welcoming our world music audience to a whole weekend of music, laughter, fun and the opportunity to meet wonderful people representing a wide range of nationalities and cultures. A cocktail of great music, fantastic food, vibrant colours, joy and fun that keeps our audience returning, year after year.
With an exciting line up of bands, interactive workshops featuring circus skills, drumming, singing and dancing, creative skills tent, international cuisine, a bar serving local ale and our ‘Let the fun beGin’ bar, this year’s Festival of World Music aims to entertain you and feed your body and soul for the whole weekend, providing non-stop entertainment, with two stages featuring great acts and so much more to see and do for all the family.
Why not join us for the weekend, pitch your tent and relax. And if the children need to run off some energy, there are more than 10 acres of land for them to explore and experience the great Norfolk outdoors.
This year, the Norfolk World Music Festival ties in with the new Norfolk Day, with a vast range of local and world artists bringing all that’s good about the world to the heart of Norfolk.
We strive to ensure a positive and happy environment for all those who attend the festival whatever their age. Where else can you see a teenage son and Dad bouncing about to Congolese music in the middle of the night or a Granny and toddler dancing to drum and bass music? Yep! it happens here. Here;s just one of the comments from our audience last year:
This was our first time to your festival. I have to say we had a fantastic weekend. The children had loads to do and were made extremely welcome by everyone. It’s so refreshing to be around so many great people all with a great attitude and all enjoying every aspect of the festival. The children enjoyed it as much as the adults. All of this and raising much needed money for a excellent cause. Fantastic guys, we will definitely see you again…… Tommy
