The Greater Thetford Development Partnership (GTDP) Community Subgroup comprises one representative from each of the three local parish and town councils (Thetford, Croxton, and Brettenham & Kilverstone) and four co-opted community representatives.
The Sub-Group’s aims are to ensure that the forthcoming development is carried out in a sympathetic manner, and in the best possible way for the current and future residents, businesses, and visitors; and also to ensure full transparency and community engagement as the plans are developed and implemented.
The Sub-Group holds public meetings every two months, at which topics of community interest are discussed. There is time for public questions at the start of each meeting, and public contributions can also be made as other matters are discussed. Papers and minutes for the meetings are published and can be accessed here.
The Chair of the Sub-Group sits on the GTDP Board in order to provide the Sub-Group’s views and other community input to the Board.
